    Instructions

      Prepare the seitan by cutting 500 grams of seitan into 2-inch cubes.

      In a large bowl, combine 2 cups of kvass, 1 sliced medium onion, 3 minced cloves of garlic, 2 bay leaves, and 1 teaspoon of whole black peppercorns to create the marinade.

      Add the seitan cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are fully submerged, then cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.

      Thread the marinated seitan cubes onto skewers, alternating with 1 sliced red bell pepper, 1 sliced green bell pepper, and 1 cup of cherry tomatoes.

      Preheat a grill to medium-high heat and lightly brush the grill grates with 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil.

      Grill the seitan and vegetable skewers for 12-15 minutes, turning frequently, until the seitan is lightly charred and the vegetables are tender-crisp.
