    Instructions

    1. 1

Cut 1.5 kilograms of pork belly into 1-inch thick strips and place them in a large bowl.

    2. 2

In a separate small bowl, combine 0.25 cup fresh lemon juice, 0.25 cup olive oil, 6 minced garlic cloves, 2 tablespoons ground cumin, 2 tablespoons ground coriander, 1 tablespoon smoked paprika, 1 tablespoon sumac, 1 teaspoon black pepper, and 2 teaspoons salt to form the marinade.

    3. 3

Pour the prepared marinade over the pork belly strips, ensuring all pieces are thoroughly coated, then cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight.

    4. 4

Preheat a grill to medium-high heat (around 400°F or 200°C) and lightly oil the grates.

    5. 5

Arrange the marinated pork belly strips directly on the hot grill, cooking them for 8-10 minutes per side, or until they are deeply browned, crispy, and cooked through, turning occasionally.

    6. 6

Remove the grilled pork belly from the grill and let it rest on a cutting board for 5 minutes before slicing.

    7. 7

Garnish the cooked pork belly with 0.25 cup fresh chopped mint leaves before serving.
