    Instructions

    1. 1

Rinse and thoroughly pat dry 4 (approximately 150-gram each) boneless, skinless chicken breasts with paper towels.

    2. 2

In a medium bowl, whisk together 2 tablespoons of white miso paste, 3 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice, 4 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, 3 minced garlic cloves, 2 teaspoons of za'atar, 0.5 teaspoon of salt, and 0.25 teaspoon of black pepper until the marinade is well combined.

    3. 3

Place the prepared chicken breasts in a shallow dish or a resealable bag and pour the entire miso-za'atar marinade over them, ensuring each piece is completely coated, then refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

    4. 4

Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and simplify cleanup.

    5. 5

Arrange the marinated chicken breasts in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet and roast them in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 74°C (165°F) and the chicken is golden brown.

    6. 6

Remove the roasted chicken breasts from the oven and let them rest on a cutting board for 5 minutes before slicing against the grain and serving immediately.
