    Instructions

    1. 1

Cut 450 grams of seitan into 2.5-cm cubes.

    2. 2

In a medium bowl, whisk together 60 ml of soy sauce, 30 ml of rice vinegar, 30 ml of agave nectar, 1 tablespoon of grated fresh ginger, 2 cloves of minced garlic, and 1 teaspoon of sesame oil to create the marinade.

    3. 3

Add the seitan cubes, 1 cup of 2.5-cm fresh pineapple chunks, 1 large red bell pepper cut into 2.5-cm squares, and 1/2 a large red onion cut into 2.5-cm pieces to the marinade, ensuring all ingredients are thoroughly coated, then let marinate for a minimum of 30 minutes.

    4. 4

Preheat your tandoor oven to a high temperature of approximately 230 degrees Celsius.

    5. 5

Carefully thread the marinated seitan, pineapple chunks, red bell pepper squares, and red onion pieces onto four metal skewers, alternating the ingredients for even cooking.

    6. 6

Place the loaded skewers into the preheated tandoor and cook for 10-15 minutes, turning them occasionally to ensure even charring and cooking, until the seitan is tender and slightly caramelized and the vegetables are cooked through.

    7. 7

Remove the Tandoor-Baked Hawaiian Seitan Skewers from the oven and serve immediately.
